ISLAMIC BOTANICAL GARDEN:
The Islamic Botanical Garden is a beautiful green space composed of nearly 100 different plants, including figs, pomegranates and saffron. The gardens aim to promote reflection, with paved walkways, ornamental pools and narrow waterways inspired by traditional aflaj (irrigation channels). You can stroll through the grounds and visit the interpretation center, which features exhibits and touchscreens. There's also a café serving up Arabic cuisine using produce from the gardens, and a library packed with books on plants.

RAIN ROOM:
Rain Room allows visitors to the installation to walk through a downpour without getting wet. Motion sensors detect visitors' movements as they navigate through the darkened space, becoming "performers in this intersection of art, technology and nature".

AL NOOR ISLAND:
From the phenomenal lighting displays and exceptional art sculptures to the beautiful fluttering butterflies and the seclusion of the Literature Pavilion – Al Noor Island Sharjah has tons to offer anyone who wants some time away from city life. Main attraction:Home to more than 500 butterflies belonging to 20 different exotic species, the Butterfly House on Al Noor Island is the biggest attraction. This dreamy space is located inside an ergonomically designed, nature-inspired structure that retains humidity and allows natural light to enter the butterfly haven.Covered with plants, the butterfly house provides the perfect sanctuary and camouflage to make its residents feel right at home. Some of the most precious winged beauties at the Butterfly House include the pink rose, emerald swallowtail and the tailed jay.

KHOR KALBA MANGROVE FOREST:
The Khor Kalba Mangrove Centre is one of the most recent ecotourism projects in Kalba, reflecting the area’s rich ecological terrain. Due to its unique location in the middle of an ancient stand of mangroves, visitors taking the outdoor tour have an opportunity to see the oldest mangrove forest in the Emirates, with trees up to 8 meters tall. Inside the center, visitors enjoy watching many beach birds such as the rare Arabian Collared Kingfisher, in addition to elements of the marine environment such as crabs, green turtles, and many fish and microorganisms.

ISLAMIC MUSEUM:
Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization features seven galleries spread over two levels. The ground-floor galleries cover aspects of the Islamic faith and the achievements of Arab scientists and astronomers. The upper floors offer a chronological overview of Islamic arts and crafts, including textiles and jewelry.Housed in a building every bit as impressive as its collection, the museum is located on the Corniche, just north of the Heart of Sharjah district. Astrolabes, manuscripts, ceramics and coins all vie for your attention, but don’t miss the gold-embroidered curtain for the door of the Holy Kaaba and the mosaic inside the central dome detailing the zodiac constellations.
